Samantha and Adam embarked on their journey of love on Friday 8th September 2023. Their wedding, a harmonious blend of tradition, Celtic heritage and new beginnings, was a testament to their shared love for the Valley Gardens in Harrogate, where they've created countless memories.
Their wedding day was truly a fairy tale. A surprise bagpipe performance organised by Samantha's parents was a touching nod to her Celtic heritage. Having Luna serve as their ring bearer was a dream come true and added an element of unexpected joy to the day.
Samantha and Adam said a highlight that left a profound impact on them was "Sitting at the top table and looking around all the tables and watching everyone chat to new people and make those new connections, people who were all there for Adam and I." It was a beautiful testament to the community of love and support that surrounded the couple.
We asked Samantha and Adam why they chose the Sun Pavilion?
We were curious about what made Samantha and Adam select the Sun Pavilion as the backdrop for their special day. Samantha spent her childhood in Harrogate, the Valley Gardens hold precious memories. For both Samantha and Adam, it was a place where they enjoyed walks during the early days of their relationship and where they now frequently visit with their beloved Irish Setter, Luna (who served as their beautiful ring bearer).
The Sun Pavilions intimate room ensured that their guests weren't scattered around, and the outside terrace provided the perfect setting for their ceremony. The stunning ceiling in the main room delivered a wow moment for the couple and their guests. Additionally, the abundant windows created a seamless transition between the inside and outside, allowing the natural beauty to shine through.
Any advice for couples planning their own wedding?
For couples currently planning their wedding, Samantha and Adam offered some valuable advice. They encouraged others to enjoy the entire process and the build-up to the big day, as once it arrives, it's gone in the blink of an eye. Starting early with the planning and gathering details gradually helped keep the cost down and reduced the stress as the wedding day drew near.
As a parting piece of advice, Samantha and Adam recommended wearing comfortable shoes for the evening. They celebrated their day in style, donning crocs as a game changer. Their guests joined the festivities with giant glow sticks on the dance floor, creating a memorable party filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments.
