On a glorious Saturday, 1st October 2022, we had the immense pleasure of hosting the beautiful wedding of Jules and Jon, surrounded by the lush beauty of Valley Gardens and the stunning elegance of our venue. The magical atmosphere was set from the outset by Becky & Josh - Acoustic Wedding Duo who ensured the day was filled with unforgettable songs, while our team ensured their day was fill with impeccable service and food. The couple chose our barbeque buffet featuring ½lb prime beef burger, sweet chilli and lime salmon fillets, thyme and lemon boneless chicken thighs, rosemary marinated minute steaks, thyme and rock salt roasted new potatoes, buttered corn on the cob and a colourful selection of seasonal pasta, grain and leaf salads. With a delicious traditional crème brulee and shortbread served for dessert.

The speeches from the Bride and Groom, Father of the Groom (Ged), and Brother of the Bride (Ian), as well as the Best Man (Groom's brother Duncan), captured the essence of the couple's journey. Jules and Jon then took to the dancefloor and swayed to "Hall and Oates -You Make My Dreams" marking the beginning of a lifetime of shared dreams.

We asked Jules and Jon why they chose the Sun Pavilion?

Jules and Jon shared: "The venue itself is stunning and the way that we were treated by all the staff from day one. They couldn't have been more accommodating and it was something that our guests certainly commented on. The Valley Gardens also hold a special place in our hearts as it's where we always come with our young boys so it was the perfect location."

Any advice for couples planning their own wedding?

For other couples planning a wedding, Jules and Jon have offered their advice: "Don't stress to much on the little things and just take time out on the day to sit back and see what is going on. Try to take in as much as you can and just enjoy it. It goes by so fast."
