Step into the Sun Pavilion, a place where dreams come to life and love stories unfold. On a picturesque Saturday 24th September 2022, we hosted the wedding of Jackie and Warren. Surrounded by family, friends, and the timeless beauty of our venue, their special day was filled with joy and romance.

For Jackie and Warren, their day was defined by the meticulous planning and seamless execution, everything was harmonious. The captivating florals and decor, by Vintage Winter Weddings and the heartfelt speeches, delivered by the brother of the bride, groom, and best man, stirred laughter and tears, leaving a lasting impact. The couple danced their first dance to the rhythm of Chaka Khan & Rufus' "Ain't NoBody."

We asked Jackie and Warren why they chose the Sun Pavilion?

We were curious to know why Jackie and Warren chose The Sun Pavilion as their wedding venue, they revealed that the venue's charm and staff played pivotal roles in their decision: "Absolutely stunning venue. Brilliant staff. Food amazing"

Guests were treated to a day filled with great food starting with canapés, including Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Pulled Beef and Cream Cheese, Mushroom Arancini Balls, and Mini Battered Fish with Chunky Chips and Pea Puree. Their wedding meal featured a Spinach, Artichoke, and Vine Tomato Filo Tart for starters, Corn-fed Breast of Chicken with Mushroom and Garlic Ballotine for the main course, and a warm Apple and Salted Caramel Crumble Tart for dessert. Evening cravings were satisfied with Crispy Bacon Baps and Cumberland Sausage Baps. YUM!

Any advice for couples planning their own wedding?

Jackie and Warren shared valuable advice for couples planning their wedding: "Get a videographer! We didn't and definitely wished we had!!" This is a sentiment echoed by many newlyweds, and their hindsight underscores the value of capturing every moment. Among the many heartwarming moments, one that stood out was the presence of their beloved Westie, an adorable companion on their journey.

It was evident that love was the true centrepiece of the celebration, we were honoured to witness and play a part in creating lasting memories. As they venture into a future filled with shared adventures, we extend our warmest wishes and a life filled with love, laughter, and memories.
