On a splendid Saturday, 15th April 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting the wedding reception of Aoife and Adam. Amidst the elegance of our stunning main room and captivating dome, their special day unfolded. The couple got married in St. Robert's Church Harrogate.

Their were a trio of speeches delivered by the Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man, filled with beautiful sentiments and hilarious jokes. The funniest part was when the brides mother swapped seats with her brother before the grooms speech. The groom did not realise which made it awkward when thanking his new in laws!

The couple's first dance to 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' by Frankie Valli was a poignant moment of their day, marking the beginning of their journey as Mr. and Mrs. Scott.

We asked Aoife and Adam why they chose the Sun Pavilion?

We were curious to uncover the story behind their choice of The Sun Pavilion as their wedding venue, the couple said: "The stunning main room and incredible dome made an impact on first viewing. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Megan and Stuart in particular were great. The whole day was honestly incredible. A bit of a blur now but totally amazing"

Any advice for couples planning their own wedding?

When we asked what advice they'd offer to couple embarking on their wedding planning journey, Aoife and Adam shared some simple yet important advice "Don't sweat the small stuff, extra activities are nice but we were glad we didn't bother as they weren't needed!" They found that simplicity allowed them to savour the essence of the day.

Aoife and Adam's love and energy throughout the entire day was truly special. Just simply perfect!
