On Friday 19th August 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting a truly enchanting wedding ceremony for the lovely Amber and Joe. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, their special day was filled with laughter, tears of joy, and unforgettable moments.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of Amber and Joe's wedding was the personal touches they added to the entire day. They lovingly decorated the venue themselves, with the help of their friends, creating an intimate and warm ambiance. A stunning flower basket on a bike, crafted by their friend Laura, added a charming touch to the venue. Additionally, the table plan and sweet bag favours were thoughtfully designed and made by their dear friend Nina.

We asked Amber and Joe why they chose the Sun Pavilion?

When we asked Amber and Joe why they chose The Sun Pavilion they said "We loved how bright and colourful the venue is, and also loved it is close to the town centre which would make it easier for guests to get there and/or stay over."

The magic of the day was amplified by the extraordinary efforts of the Photographer Abbie and Lee and the dedicated team at The Sun Pavilion, led by Stuart and Megan. They ensured that Amber and Joe had plenty of precious moments together throughout the day, amidst the whirlwind of their wedding. One standout moment was during the Northern House Band's performance of Oasis' classic, 'Don't Look Back in Anger,' where everyone sang along so loudly that they didn't even notice a brief power outage. Amber and Joe found themselves lifted onto their friends' shoulders, creating an unexpected memory that will be cherished forever.

Any advice for couples planning their own wedding?

Amber and Joe had some important advice for couples embarking on their wedding planning journey "Completely trust your suppliers - they're the experts after all! For example, we had a list of songs we thought we wanted playing, but then when we saw the bands set list we just knew it would get more people up dancing than we could ever do!"

As well as hosting a beautiful wedding Amber and Joe (who are both vegan) chose a beautiful vegan menu for their guests. The menu featured roasted baby beets with vegan cream cheese to start. Braised fennel potato cake with borlotti bean puree, wild mushrooms and stuffed artichoke for mains and a plant based baked lemon and raspberry cheesecake for dessert.

The day was filled with emotions, Amber's Mam, Amber herself, Joe and the two best men delivered speeches that were truly touching and unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression on all present. As we look back on Amber and Joe's wedding day at The Sun Pavilion, we are reminded of the beauty of love, we wish Amber and Joe a lifetime of love and happiness, and we hope their magical wedding day serves as inspiration for many more unforgettable memories and celebrations to come.
